You can have your YouTube video that you embedded on your blog to start playing automatically
when a visitor visits that page by adding a simple parameter to your YouTube
URL. This can be especially useful for a "how it works" or
"about us" page, or where a rich content is expecting.
Following the below steps, you will be able auto play your embedded
YouTube video on your blog.
Making a YouTube Video Autoplay on your blog
1. On YouTube, go to the video you wish to embed.
2. Click Share, and then Embed.
3. Copy the embed code
4. Choose your settings, and then copy the HTML code.
5. In your blog, open the page, or the place you'd like to add the
video to.
6. In the Page Content or Gadget editor, click the HTML icon or sign.
7. Paste the code, then add ?rel=0&autoplay=1 to the code. See the
example below.
Before, the code will look like this:
<iframe width="640" height="360"
src="[YouTube Video URL]" frameborder="0"
allowfullscreen></iframe>
After pasting the code, the code will now look like this:
<iframe width="640" height="360"
src="[YouTube Video URL]?rel=0&autoplay=1"
frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
8. Click on Update or Publish button.
9. Remember to Save your changes before exiting is needed to.
