How do I remove or block someone from a group?
It is only the admin that is permitted to remove or block a member from the Facebook group.
Before we start, let’s quickly
explain what Facebook group is all about and what it is used for.
Facebook Groups
is a channel or medium through which you can connect with specific sets of
people, like family, teammates or coworkers easily. Groups are dedicated
spaces where you can share updates, photos or documents and message with other group
members. You can also select one of three privacy options for each group
you create.
To remove or block a member follow these steps:
- Click Members at the top of your group
- Find the member you want to remove
- Click
beneath the member's name and
select Remove from Group - To block a member you're removing, check the box that says Block Permanently
- Click Confirm
Note: Only admins will see
appear next to group members'
names. Also keep in mind that it is only admins can remove or block group

Removed members will have to request
to join the group again if they wish to rejoin. Blocked members won't be able
to find the group in search or see any of its content, and they can't be added
to the group again by members.

To remove a block you've put on a group member follow these steps:
- Click Members at the top of your group
- Click the All Members dropdown menu
- Select Blocked
- Click Remove Block under the person's name
