A VERY IMPORTANT TIPS TO HELP YOU PASS YOUR NPOWER PHYSICAL VERIFICATION

First of all we want to congratulate all those who made the Pre-selected list.

These articles will review the type of verification, credentials required, date and the venue for the physical verification exercise.

Physical verification commences immediately after you’re Pre-selected.  The physical Verification that was scheduled to hold from November 27th to December 8th, 2017 has been re-scheduled to hold from 4th December to 14th December, 2017.

To be physically verified means Npower are in partnership with National Orientation Agency, and National Youth Service Corps. You will be verified at your local government of residence.

Types of N-power Verification:

1.  Age Verification:  this is to make sure that you’re still within the ages of 18-35 as at the time of physical verification.

2.  Qualification Verification: this is to make sure you’re a graduate you claimed you are.

3.  NYSC Discharge Certificate Verification: those who applied with OND, NCE are exempted from this.

4.  Residential Verification:  You will be verified to be sure you reside in that community.

5.  This is a programme where you will be deployed based on your state of residence, because it’s a programme you’re expected to contribute to the development of your community.

6.  Employment verification:  this is a programme for the unemployed. Of course if you’re employed you’d be disqualified.

That’s the essence of physical verification.

7.  If you are an NCE or OND applicant, make sure you have the certificate or statement of result to be presented on your physical verification day which is not far from now.

8.  If you are a Degree or HND applicant, make sure your NYSC discharge certificate or an exemption letter is ready to be presented on the day of your physical verification, anyone who appears with results but without NYSC certificate will automatically be disqualified without an option of grace. 

Other Items that will be Required for NPower Physical Verification 2017

ID CARD

Any acceptable National Identification card that clearly shows your name.

An acceptable card includes;

• National ID Car
• Drivers License
• Voter’s Card
• International Passport

BIRTH CERTIFICATE

• It must collaborate the age indicated in the document you submitted during registration The documents accepted include;
• National Population Commission Birth Registration/Certificate
• Court Affidavit/Age Declaration

PROOF OF ADDRESS OF RESIDENCE

Any Utility Bill will do, these includes;

• NEPA Bills (PHCN, Electricity Disco’s Bill)
• Water Bill

The reason Npower is carrying out physical verification before final short listing of candidates to be employed, is to fetch out such applicants who will increase the shortlisted number without making it in the end.
